MSW program gets accreditation
The Master’s of Social Work Department at California State University, East Bay, was granted accreditation by the Council on Social Work Education earlier this month. The accreditation is retroactive to the 2003-2004 academic year when the first students enrolled in the program. It is valid until 2010. The University worked with Alameda and Contra Costa counties, as well as community-based agencies to develop the program as means to meet the social work training needs of the region.Pleasanton employee joins LAFCO
