When Pleasanton was incorporated in 1894, the population was a mere 500. But when Pleasanton became a part of the first transcontinental railroad line, The Pacific Railroad, in 1896, Pleasanton soon began to grow.

Now boasting a population of more than 78,000, Pleasanton is a thriving community with a strong economic base, charming downtown, excellent school district and a host of well-planned neighborhoods.

Only a handful of the 100 neighborhoods in Pleasanton are listed, and we will add others soon.

(1) Happy Valley

(2) Ironwood Estates / Village at Ironwood

(3) Jensen Tract / Amador Estates

(4) Laguna Oaks

(5) Mohr / Martin Estates

(6) Nolan Farms

(7) Pleasanton Valley
