Wente Family Vineyards is gearing up for a busy summer with its lineup of programs featuring a variety of entertainment and activities including live music, food collaborations and of course, wine tasting.

Those familiar with Wente’s annual events can look forward to the return of the White Party (May 24), which is already sold out for this year, and Mother’s Day Brunch (May 10) as well as live music on the lawn.

“We’re really excited about the wide variety of programming happening at Wente this year!” said Aly Wente — fifth-generation winegrower and chief revenue officer — in a statement announcing the new season.

“There are so many new hospitality experiences we are offering in addition to our beloved annual celebrations. From interactive tastings like the Unknown Pour to global food pairings to various culinary collaborations with exciting brands like Khloud popcorn and more,” she added.

Those eager to get out to the family-owned Livermore winery located at 5050 Arroyo Road don’t have to wait until the summer season kicks off to have a good time. There is plenty of spring programming on the venue’s calendar, including The Unknown Pour held on select Saturdays at 3 p.m. and Sundays at 11 a.m. and Flutes, Coupes & Tulips Sparkling Wine on select Saturdays at 11 a.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.

A new and ongoing experience, the Unknown Pour is an immersive blind tasting designed to heighten sensory awareness and challenge conventional wine evaluation, Wente officials described in their announcement. Guests explore a curated selection of five different Wente wines through aroma, texture and palate alone, removing all visual cues to encourage an unbiased and purely sensory assessment. Tickets are $65 per person, with club member savings available.

Flutes, Coupes & Tulips Sparkling Wine is an interactive educational tasting class that explores how glassware dramatically influences the sparkling wine experience. Guests sample five Wente, Murrieta’s Well and international sparkling wines in flute, coupe and tulip glasses to discover how bubbles, aroma and texture shift with each style. Tickets are $75 per person, with club member savings available.

Looking ahead to June, Wente’s Summer Music Series is set to welcome an eclectic mix of tribute bands. The first show is scheduled for June 6 with Legends of New Country: Wallen & Wilson set to bring together the music of country stars Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson.

The June 13 show will feature yacht rock band Mustache Harbor and later in the month on June 26, Best Intentions will perform Motown hits.

The rest of the series through October includes Tom Petty tribute band Petty Theft (July 18), The Sun Kings paying tribute to The Beatles (July 25), Boston tribute band Long Time (Aug. 15), Billy Joel tribute Billy Nation (Sept. 5), and to close out the 2026 series, Kenny Metcalf will perform Elton John classics (Oct. 17).

For each show, doors open at 6 p.m. and the band starts at 8 p.m., Wente officials said.

General admission tickets are $55 and include a welcome splash of wine. Tirage tickets are available for $85 and include early access with a pre-show tasting and light bites. VIP experiences start at $150 per person, with private tables available at $1,200 (eight-top) and $1,500 (10-top), offering reserved seating, chef-prepared dinner and access to VIP bars.

Additional upcoming events include Sunday Supper with Pride & Joy Band on June 14 at 4 p.m., which organizers describe as an evening of dinner, dancing and live music at the winery. Summer Grill Nights, a Patio Dinner Series at The Grill, features a distinct cuisine and atmosphere for each event with prices starting at $75 per person. All events are 21 and over.

“At the heart of it, we ultimately just want Wente to be a place where people can come spend some time together this season,” Aly Wente said. “Whether you’re here for a tasting, a concert, or just a slice of pizza on the lawn, we’re creating a space where we welcome you to settle in and stay awhile. We’re so excited to have you join us!.”
