The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District Foundation is set to host the fourth annual Wine Down in the Grove fundraiser this June, with proceeds slated to help locals access recreational programs amid financial need and to fund park and trail enhancements.
Set at Ravenswood Historic Site in Livermore, the evening’s itinerary includes a silent and live auction including “exclusive items” from local businesses, a buffet dinner from On the Vine Catering, beverage tastings by local wineries and breweries as well as live music by the BLT Trio, according to the LARPD Foundation. Guests can also explore the site through docent-led tours.

“This event is a special opportunity to gather in support of recreation programs, parks, and trails that benefit everyone in Livermore,” LARPD Foundation President Connie Campbell said in a statement.
Proceeds will go toward the LARPD Foundation, with a primary goal of expanding access to recreation opportunities for underserved people and improving parks and open spaces, as well as its Community Support Scholarship Program. Co-operated by the Livermore Rotary Foundation, this program provides financial assistance to local residents of all ages for their participation in LARPD programs, according to the LARPD website.
The impact of last year’s fundraiser can be seen in the 370 community members who received help accessing programs, a 56% increase from 2023, the LARPD website states.
“Every ticket sold helps expand this vital scholarship program,” the event page reads.
Wine Down in the Grove is scheduled to run from 5:30-8 p.m. June 20 at Ravenswood Historic Site, 2647 Arroyo Road in Livermore.
