A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Contra Costa County early Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The temblor was logged at 5:21 a.m., approximately 2.7 miles southeast of San Ramon or 3.6 miles north of Dublin in Alameda County.
The tremor had a depth of 8 kilometers or nearly 5 miles, according to the U.S.G.S.
There was no damage immediately reported.
