In Alameda County, both the opioid epidemic and the human trafficking crisis are two heavily pervasive issues present throughout the region, detrimentally affecting the lives of many. Yet, even with the extent of their effect, many fail to recognize the ways in which these two crises intersect, and ultimately, how we as a community can work to address these intersecting epidemics to prevent them moving forward.

This video was produced as part of a program to educate youth and others about Alameda County’s opioid crisis, prevention and treatment options. The program is funded by the Alameda County Behavioral Health Department and the grant is administered by Three Valleys Community Foundation.
