The Bankhead Theater is set to close out its summer season with an evening of magic expected to thrill, engage and entertain audiences – while also keeping them guessing.

“Masters of Illusion”, the touring stage show from the same production family that presents the television series of the same name on the CW, is coming to downtown Livermore for “two hours of stage illusions, dangerous stunts, mind-reading, sleight of hand, singing and comedy magic”, according to Livermore Valley Arts.

“Audiences will be held at the edge of their seats by the jaw-dropping grand illusions, and will laugh out loud at the hysterical comedy magic as performers from around the world combine fantasy, fervor, and flair with magic created in front of their very eyes,” LVA reps said.

The lineup for the Bankhead show features seasoned magician Joseph Gabriel, up-and-coming illusionist Dani Elizabeth, comedian and magician Murray SawChuck and shock illusionist Dan Sperry.

“Watch closely as you experience things that just can’t be done … or can they?” LVA reps said. The show is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. Aug. 22. For more information, go to livermorearts.org.
