For women who are in or just starting treatment for breast cancer, Mary Prishtina and Estee Goren will host a support group from 10 a.m.-noon, on the second Thursday of every month starting March 8, meeting at the ValleyCare Health Library and the Ryan Comer Cancer Resource Center, 5725 W. Las Positas Blvd., Suite #270, Pleasanton. The group will offer a private environment in which to express and share concerns and to get information on what to expect. Thosse participating will also learn coping skills to assist with the side effects. This group meets for free. Call 399-1177.
