The Pleasanton-Tulancingo Sister City Association is recruiting local families who want to participate in this summer’s student exchange program.

A reciprocal exchange, students from Tulancingo, Mexico will stay in Pleasanton homes from June 14-28 and Pleasanton students will make the return voyage from June 28 to July 12. All teen participants will be in “an immersed, safe family household” and the program is “a great chance to immerse yourself in the Spanish language and country culture, and share yours”, association president Jorge Victoria said.

Only one local student has registered so far; the deadline is March 31. Contact Victoria at javictoria45@gmail.com or 925-989-6882 to learn more.
