The Livermore Civic Center Library is displaying some of the best pictures by local photographers this year throughout the month of November.
Featuring winning entries from the Livermore Valley Camera Club’s annual photography contest, the “Click 25” juried exhibition “celebrates the creativity and vision of amateur photographers from across the Tri-Valley region”, according to club member Guy Cummins.
“From dramatic landscapes to intimate portraits, the selected prints reflect a wide range of styles, subjects and techniques. The contest drew submissions from emerging artists and seasoned hobbyists alike, all united by a passion for visual storytelling,” Cummins said in a press release.
“‘Click 25’ marks the club’s commitment to fostering local talent and providing a platform for photographers to share their work with the community,” Cummins added.
The exhibition is scheduled to open inside the library at 1188 S. Livermore Ave. this Saturday (Nov. 1) and run through Nov. 30. Many of the winning prints will be available for purchase.
Founded in 1958 to support more community and collaboration among local photographers, LVCC typically meets on the first and third Mondays (except December) from 7-9 p.m. at 5690 Sonoma Drive in Pleasanton. For more information, go to lvcc.photoclubservices.com.
