The Pleasanton Police Department welcomed Officer Thomas Galdos, a transfer from Stockton PD, as the newest member of the local force.
An alumnus of Manteca High School and San Joaquin Delta College, Galdos said he was inspired to enter law enforcement in part from his family connections — his grandfather was a former police chief in Tracy and his uncle also works in the field.
“We are proud to have Officer Galdos join us in serving our city, where he can experience the level of support we are so fortunate to enjoy here in Pleasanton,” Police Chief David Swing said of Galdos, who had worked for Stockton police since 2017.
