Cafe Tapioca, a 1,200square-foot refreshment center, has opened in the Rose Pavilion Shopping Center, which is located at the northwest corner of Santa Rita Road and Rosewood Drive.

Centro Properties Group, which owns the shopping center, said the new store is near the 99 Ranch market, which also opened recently.

The Centro Properties Group is the second largest owner of community and neighborhood shopping centers in the U.S.

  1. Mr. Bing,

Please correct some errors in your article. It is a “shopping” center, not a “sopping” center.

It is also the Ranch 99 Supermarket–not the 98 Ranch.

    Thank you.

  2. This place serves bubble tea with tapioca pearls (frequently called “boba”) and popcorn chicken. Bubble tea originated in Taiwan, spread to nearby East Asian countries, migrated to Canada before spreading to Chinatowns throughout the United States, and is now spreading throughout the West Coast.

I’m going to visit Erik’s Deli, Nations, and Kasper’s Hot Dogs for old time’s sake, as I suspect their time in Rose Pavilion is limited.

  3. The article correctly said 99 Ranch not 98 Ranch. Joe, where did you get Ranch 98?

It also said “shopping” center, spelled correctly three different times. Am I missing something?

  4. To Late! Nations is already gone from The Rose Pavilion. If we are going to write a story about the opening of a store why not give more info about it? What do they serve and so on? Just a thought.
