The Pleasanton Police Department is investigating a grand theft that took place at the Apple store inside of Stoneridge Mall, a police spokesperson said.

The theft occurred around 4:15 p.m. on Monday, PPD Community and Public Relations Coordinator Teri Yan said. She said two suspects allegedly entered the store in all black clothing and black ski masks before stealing over $21,000 of iPhones, iMacs and other merchandise that was on display.

Yan told the Weekly the two suspects were not armed, nobody was injured at the scene and that the two suspects were still at large.

“Both suspects were gone when our officers arrived,” PPD Lt. Erik Silacci told the Weekly. “We are actively investigating the incident and will update when we have more information.”
