Sol Sullins, a 22-year-old Pleasanton resident and Amador Valley High School graduate, has been found safe and is back home after having been reported missing for several days last week.

Sullins’ mom first reported to the Pleasanton Police Department that her son was missing on March 30, after she last saw him the night before. The department shared a missing person advisory on social media over the weekend about their attempts to locate Sullins.

According to PPD Lt. Erik Silacci, Sullins was later contacted by another agency in the South San Francisco and Brisbane area, where they told him he was listed as a missing person.

“His mother was able to contact him and they were reunited this week and they are back home,” Silacci said.

He was originally thought to have gone to the Pleasanton Ridge hiking trails where he used to run, according to a post on the Amador Valley High School official Track and Field Facebook page.

The same post had mentioned that he was found safe on Monday, but PPD didn’t confirm that he was not considered missing anymore until Wednesday.

“He is out of the area at this time and there is no reason to continue searching,” the Facebook post stated after having been updated around 11 a.m. on Monday.
