Grrrr. If it is advertised as being at 9:30, it should start at 9:30! We ate dinner at a restaurant and arrived at my house (which has a good view) at 9:29… just in time to see the “finale” shot. ^$?&@#$^!!.
How hard can it be to just follow a schedule? We had looked forward to the fireworks but the ****heads who appear to run the fair these days just couldn’t wait I guess. You’d think it would not be possible to screw something like that up, but they did.
It was advertised on the Alameda Fair website as 9:15.
Every year I feel lucky to live here so I can just step out in my neighborhood, and enjoy 99% of the show over the treetops !…a beautiful backdrop.
Had you not wasted so much time eating, you could have enjoyed the entire show.

Nice of the Fairgrounds to let the bees stay. Would you keep a beehive in your backyard with kids around? Common sense would tell you to get rid of it. But apparently not at the Fairgrounds. And yes they have known about it for quite some time. THINK PEOPLE
