A group of Pleasanton moms who met when their kids attended Alisal Elementary School years ago continue their friendship with a monthly Mom Book Club, bonding over hours of conversation, cups of hot tea, glasses of wine and charcuterie boards. Last fall they celebrated three of their birthdays with a weekend getaway featuring a glass fusion activity and Italian lunch in Benicia, a hotel stay in Lafayette (shown), a Caribbean dinner in Walnut Creek and a farm to table brunch in Danville.
