The Pleasanton City Council has three items to discuss with staff behind closed doors during a special meeting Tuesday afternoon.
First on the agenda is a conference with the city’s bargaining team about contract negotiations with the Pleasanton Police Officers Association.
Council members will then talk with City Manager Gerry Beaudin and assistant city manager Alexa Jeffress about the Sycamore Terrace office building at 6601 Koll Center Pkwy. The reason for the “conference with real property negotiators” is not disclosed on the agenda, which is common for closed sessions.
Finally, the council is set to consult with Police Chief Tracy Avelar on “threat to public services or facilities (training and information)”, according to the agenda. No further specifics are revealed.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. Tuesday (March 31) in the City Council Conference Room and City Council Chamber at 200 Old Bernal Ave. Residents can provide public comment on agenda items after the meeting is called to order, but the council’s conversations will take place in closed session.
