Scores of residents young and old turned out to Meadowlark Dairy on May 29 for an afternoon of enjoying ice cream and engaging with Pleasanton police personnel.
The annual Cone with a Cop event, which offers a free frozen treat to attendees at the popular downtown shop, aims to bring the community and local law enforcement together to mingle in a less formal setting — this year’s iteration also marked one of the first major public events for new Interim Police Chief Gina Anderson.
