Applications are now being accepted for one-bedroom units through Kottinger Gardens Phase 1 in Pleasanton.
Through Aug. 27, applicants aged 62 years or older (either head of household, co-head, or spouse) that live or work in the city of Pleasanton are invited to apply for the affordable housing program.
Credit, criminal and rental history will be evaluated for each applicant aged 18 or over, plus emancipated minors. Negative credit reports may disqualify applicants. Maximum income limits range up to $88,800 for a household of five.
Pre-applications that are considered for a unit will be contacted for an interview at the management office and to complete a detailed full application at that time. Applications may also be processed in anticipation of an upcoming vacancy and held until another unit becomes available. Third party verification is also required to confirm income, assets, landlord references and preference eligibility for an applicant.
Applications must be completed by Aug. 27 and are available during regular office hours at the Kottinger Gardens Phase 1 rental office, located at 240 Kottinger Drive.
All applications will be date/time stamped at the time received and added to the waiting list by date and time order. Applications sent by postal service must be postmarked by Aug. 27. Fax and email applications are not accepted.
