Do you like football? Do you like to write? The Pleasanton Weekly is looking for someone to go to the AVHS and Foothill home games and write up the action for us to run online the next morning.

One suggestion is to go to those schools and solicit from the student bodies themselves for writers. My son is still in middle school but he is going to be in journalism class, so I imagine our HSs may have classes like that too. Regardless, some students may be interested and would be good experience to write for a professional outlet... also great for the resume, college application, school spirit.
