In true Tea Party fashion, I suggest an immediate over-reaction to this. Pleasanton police should immediately cordone off the town and turn away all visitors driving vehicles with New Hampshire plates.

You just can't be too careful.

Why post this one shoplifting story when there are many shoplifters at the mall? Do you ever read the police log? Full of robberies, burglaries and thefts in Pleasanton. What's happening to such a nice city?

Every time politics gets inserted into a story where it doesn't belong I cant help but wonder how small-minded the poster must be to have to bring up politics everywhere like a troll.

I have to assume there are tons of political forums for you to get your fix. Please save the political discussions for where they are warranted. Hint: This story does not have a political tie-in.
