PW Opinionist Challenges the Federal Takeover of Grammar

Original post made by Mike, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Aug 15, 2013

PW's designated 'opinionator', Tim Hunt, writes the following:

"The novel legal theory to cast aside the state’s role in environmental review—particularly when the EIRs to date only cover the farm land path in the San Joaquin Valley from nowhere to nowhere as opposed to going over the Tehachapis and then through Los Angeles and Orange County to San Diego to say nothing about going over Pacheco Pass into Gilroy, through San Jose and then up the peninsula to downtown San Francisco."

Well, that about says it all. One envisions a sage-like newspaper man, hunched over in thought, diligently ruminating as he struggles with how best to articulate his complex thoughts. With towering intellectuals like Hunt, poised with pen to challenge the tyrannical state, we all can sleep well at night.

All indications are that PW 'writer/opinionist' Tim Hunt refuses to correct any glaring grammatical mistakes from his ponderous 250-word 'columns' because those pointing out his numerous mistakes are either government agents or paid union spies. It was heard on the golf course that "Grammar is way overrated; and, besides, when one is blessed like I am, the semantics part of things takes care of itself."
