Slavery is on the rise in America

Original post made by Al Bell, Old Towne, on Dec 4, 2011

Slavery is on the rise in America.

Can this be true? But I say, if you have less money than you need, are you not less free? If the money
that you do have is being taken away from you, are they not taking away your freedoms? Take away a
man’s money, and you take away his freedom of choice.

The new slavery is the government‘s obsession with taking your money at every opportunity. How many kinds of taxation can you count? You don’t have enough fingers to count how many ways government sticks its greedy fingers in all your pockets! And your children’s pockets before they are even of age, borrowing spending money that your children will have to pay back all throughout their lives.

We non-government works of America are becoming slaves to the growing, powerful governmental system of endless taxes, even though we aren’t getting anything extra for our money other than sweeter and more tempting political promises that lead nowhere accept to the success of the IRS.

In the 19th century, the political party of the diabolical black slavery system of half this country was the Democrat Party. They stood for no freedom for black Americans; that black Americans were merely property, no better than sheep or cows. The Democrat Party argued furiously for this position, and demanded that the entire country embrace the disgusting enslavement of fellow man, and they went to war and fought for their sick lust of slavery.

Today, the Democrat Party again stands for slavery of a new kind: “Take as much money from as many people as we can! Say anything to fool them! Use any excuse!“

But you are losing your freedom as a result. How many of you feel you don’t have enough money anymore? Did you cause this yourselves? No! It is caused by the horrible government taxing at every level that is doing it to you. I lived in a country once with no taxation at all. Saudi Arabia. Everything was cheaper. In America, there is a tax at every turn. I’m taxed when I make money. I’m taxed when
I spend money. I’m taxed because I own a home. I’m taxed for every car. I’m taxed to pay for all these pointless military adventures on the opposite side of the planet. I’m taxed to give away money
to foreign countries. I’m taxed so that government workers get lifetime pensions almost as much as their salaries -- I’ll never get anything like that, unless I join the government – never!

More tax – less freedom, just more slavery to the government.

I find it ironic that Barack Obama, a black man – and no other should be more sympathetic to enslavement of Americans – is the champion of the Democrat Party, and responds so obediently when the Party cracks the whip demanding more taxes and more government spending of money
they don’t have and that we, the enslaved taxpayer, and our enslaved children, must pay for.

Yeah, he’ll make a ton of money over the rest of his life at speaking engagements, sipping $100 per bottle wine, while the rest of us, black and white, pay more and more and more out of every paycheck
for those astronomical amounts of overspending that he authorized and signed into law.

President Obama should take a lesson from the greatest black man of America who ever lived: Frederick Douglass, born a slave, the first black Republican, who risked his life fighting slavery and the
will of the Democrat Party to perpetuate slavery. Frederick Douglass voted for Abraham Lincoln and the Republican Party: the anti-slavery party ... as it is today!

Today, slavery is not black, it is green – the color of your money. The monsters that seek to steal a man’s reward for his daily labors no longer care about the color of skin or gender or age or anything:
they want all men and women to give over more and more and more to they, the master class: our public “servants”.

I say: Fight them at the polls! Fight them in the papers! Fight them at the blogs and around the coffee stations at work!

If you don’t, more and more will be taken from you – you will have less and less.

There comes a time in every life when you must unpeel your warm, blanket of comfort, crank up, and fight for your freedom. Freedom is not free. Taxes take away freedom. They’re even taking more
and more money from businesses, causing less and less jobs.

Help stop this evil: Work for candidates who want less government power, and vote against any candidate that wants more government taxation and spending.

Don’t you deserve freedom?

Al Bell

Taxes are lower today than they were thirty years ago.

" Republican Party: the anti-slavery party ... as it is today!"

Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush both raised taxes.

I notice you didn't mention Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. How do you propose we pay for these programs without raising taxes and reforming those programs? What about the enormous debt we are passing to our children?

Very obtuse observations, indeed.

Al Bell reminds me of "rebellious" little third grade boys who inscribe Nazi swastikas on their school desks in order to gain attention. The third grade boys, of course, don't know any better.

Al Bell's comparison of today's US citizens and pre-civil war slaves is akin to saying one should put the blueberry muffins into the oven and wait until they come out cooked like the Jews were in Nazi Germany.

Al Bell's inability to grasp the true horror of slavery in America's history describes the kind of mentality that goes into teens burning an African-American church because, after all, blacks don't sufficiently appreciate the freedoms we've given them.

If there were twelve year-olds pushing over tombstones in a Jewish cemetary, I'd expect Al Bell to wish he were sharing in the fun.

Were Al Bell in attendance at a lynching of African Americans, I'd expect his mouth would be drooling spittle caused by his ecstatic state.

In other words, the guy is one sick little puppy. GOP take heed. He's one of your own. I wonder why?

Ho, hum. The expected, virtually scripted, typical left-wing obsessively socialist response.

Say anything, boys, to lead toward your communist obsession: Do what feels good, and pretend Governement is God ... while you sell your future peace, freedom, and security to your oligarchic idols.

Foolishness, the common rust of history.

I hope this link will work from the WSJ about what is happening in Italy: "Labor Minister Elsa Fornero broke into tears during the news conference, saying the pension changes were necessary to avoid 'collective impoverishment.'" Web Link

Al Bell ... You blame the left, yet you are a slave to the 1% who have taken all the dollars and kept them hidden away from you. You blame the poor man because the 1% elite have sold you a bill of goods. The rich are corrupt and you blame blame blame blame.

It's the corrupt rich, not the dumb poor that are making the American situation a non-retrievable debacle.

You defend the rich, but I bet my bottom dollar you are NOT rich yourself. If you were you wouldn't be shouting from the mountain top. You would be buried away in a safe haven away from the crowds. You are just part of the standard fare middle of the roader who thinks they've won the game. Big house maybe. Maybe not. Look at your neighbors ... all foreigners. Look at the town. All imports. You can't blame that on the poor.

Your real enemy is the rich, the very rich.

MT . . . that sums up your arguments, three times over. Everything is poor vs rich. All your posts, Gollum, seek to start arguments. If you are wealthy, you are corrupt; and if you are poor, you are dumb. You have no respect for anyone, least of all yourself.

Never once said I agreed with Al. I said on another topic that the extreme positions taken by either side are not helpful to solving anything.

Gollum, Mr. Bell chose an extreme way to express his viewpoint. You do the same thing . . . all . . . the . . . time. If you choose to behave as others do, then you are no better than they.

Picked this up on another blog, Project Syndicate: "The only logical and moral conclusion is that America and other developed countries should make massive transfers of wealth, jobs, income, and benefits to the Third World." This was a blog comment on an article by Mr. J. Bradford DeLong, former assistant secretary of the US Treasury, Professor of Economics at the University of California at Berkeley, and a research associate at the National Bureau for Economic Research. Think I saw you posting out there as Modicum.

This is why all of us need to watch Sacramento. It's important for OWS or any other group wanting to know where tax dollars are being spent, specifically in this case, by the Assembly. From the Tri-Valley Times: Web Link

"The arguments were an attack on the public's ability to monitor taxpayer dollars . . . [Judge] Frawley rejected them all, correctly noting that open-records laws should be construed 'to ensure maximum disclosure of the conduct of government operations.'"
