Dear Sierra,

My husband & I are former Pleasanton residents, now retired to Port Townsend WA. We still keep online "tabs" on our beloved community & friends which is how I came upon your article through the Weekly.

Honey, you flat-out deserve a raise. Tell your boss I said so. You write SO well...we felt we were flying right there with you. We couldn't stop grinning ourselves at the end of your article...incredibly entertaining & informative. You are very gifted for one so young. We'll be looking forward to many more submissions. You have a huge world to experience. Puleese take us along with you!

Thanks Sierra for the well written article. Thank you also to all the volunteers, band, and especially the WWII vets who gave up their holiday weekend to allow the public a hand's on experience with these historic warbirds.
