Nelson Fialho is one of city government's toughest acts to follow. Professionalism, dedication, honesty, and diplomacy are but a few of his strong suits. While wishing the very best of everything in his new adventures, how sad it is to lose his experience, wisdom, and guidance at this critical time for our community. His leadership will be missed.

Please stop making up $#!t to fulfill your own agenda. Nobody "drove out" Nelson; retirement was his own decision. The City has overall flourished under his watch, and it will be difficult to replace him. Pleasanton wishes him the best.

Nelson Fialho will be missed. He's done a fantistic job for this city. Basically, the only City Manager I've known, since we arrived here from the midwest in 1981. Nelson has been a friend to our Veterans Organizations and maintained an open door for any of us to walk through. He's been instrumental in Downtown and City Wide improvements. Thank you, Nelson for all you've done for the City.

Nelson has been a fantastic City Manager and a friend as well. I know Ben appreciated working with him during his terms as the Mayor. He strives to get along with everyone regardless of their positions on issues. The City has benefited from his input and decisions over the last 25 years and he will be missed by many. I wish him all the best for whatever is in his future.
