The choice model: Dublin Unified advances plan for reopening schools

Dublin Unified is moving forward with a plan to reopen schools in the fall that allows families to choose whether their student is physically present at school full-time, two days a week or not at all.

So do we get a refund of property taxes? You might as well homeschool properly instead of this BS distance learning if you opt out of the 5 days a week free daycare.

Why would you get a property tax refund if teachers are in the classroom teaching and you have the ability to send your student to school if you want?

I could understand that request if you were just getting packets of HW and having to teach your child at home. But if they're logging in to active instruction, I don't see validity to your claim even if you choose the at home option.

Well done Dublin (so long as full time is meant to mean a full traditional school day).

Test taking will definitely be an interesting discussion.

What about parents who are Dublin teachers and have children in the Pleasanton School District? What are they going to do about childcare???
