Both Dublin and San Ramon have proper cricket ground to play on.....we have been trying to get Pleasanton to set aside a place to play. To date there has not been any movement on playing options in Pleasanton. This is too bad since cricket along with La Crosse are the fastest growing sports in the Bay Area not to mention the Tri-Valley. Time for Pleasnton to get with the times and build a proper cricket pitch.

Steve - get a clue. Getting fields built in Pleasanton is not easy - and it takes long time to make progress. A far higher number of children play soccer, baseball and lacrosse in this town. These sports still need additional fields. Go ahead and raise some money; negotiate with the city; and get in line for the development of additional fields. Time for cricket parents to get with the times and work with the city like all the other sports.

Worst thing to happen to baseball....spending so much time correcting cricket swings for a proper baseball swing.

Agree a cricket field is a good idea though, see plenty of groups playing on baseball fields.

We should encourage outdoor activity and continue to support infastructure to keep it going - to the posters comment above, go through the proper channels to get it on a roadmap
