So I searched for "Vega, Jesus" on the Megan's Law website and found him in 5 seconds... picture included. Let this be a lesson that if any of us are thinking about leaving our children alone with a new "friend," it only takes a few minutes on a website to see if that friend is a registered sex offender.

Sex offenders CANNOT be rehabilitated. They ALWAYS continue to molest, no matter how much time they are locked up. They need to be locked up for life or simply killed.

Tragic. Hopefully the child will receive the help that he/she will need. It takes time and enormous patience.

Only 35% of us access the registry. Those who DO access the registry have implemented at least two additional safety measures in either their homes and or lifestyles. The general public has no concept of the Truly dangerous people in our neighborhoods. Sex offenders are opportunist, they offend out of opportunity. Their compulsions are such that they will decimate their own families, their reputations, their jobs and or their freedoms. Sex offenders are the only classification of criminals who get MORE dangerous the further out from their original convictions. NEVER EVER allow these people into your world.
