Pleasanton North Rotary held its second annual Pasta Feed on Sunday January 26th, and the event was a great success! Nearly 150 attendees played games and activities including the always popular Bingo and Cake Walk. Each attending youth group brought home upwards of $100 apiece, and Pleasanton North Rotarians kept the event running smoothly.
Rotarians Rose Polis, Esther Becker and Carol Moberg kept the front desk running smoothly and helped check everyone in. Dominic Pipitone, Esther and Bob Tucknott were masterful as they managed the pasta and sauces. A veritable cadre of Rotarians were instrumental in getting the room prepared and looking quite festive. At the end of the day, due to everyone’s efforts, many friends were made, smiles were bountiful, and local groups were funded.
Local Rotarians were honored to have the Rotary District 5170 Governor Angie Hassler and her husband Roger Hassler, past District 5170 Governor, in attendance, and a surprise visit by Senate Majority Leader Ellen M. Corbett (D-East Bay) was a highlight for many attending.
We hope to see many more outstanding socially-minded Pleasanton residents next year!
