Plus, he helps us get over our misplaced guilt. So nice, for us local liberals and leftist utopians, to be able to sleep at night, knowing we are all in such capable hands.

I personally have been losing sleep at night over the prospect of Obama-supported ACA providing health care to 30 million Americans who didn't have it before the Act. So much guilt!

Ah, but as George Mitchell said this week-end, health care for 30 million Americans isn't the issue. Rather, the real issue is Obama's likelihood of getting re-elected by the American people. In light of this, we need to throw any infantile crappola up at the wall in order to make it stick in hopes of unseating this guilt tripper president who isn't black but who isn't white either.

Never mind his incompetence, let's just focus on his race. Just like Eric holder, he's not incompetent, he's just being criticized for being black. Whatever helps you justify your reasons for excusiing these boobs. They can do no wrong, since affirmative action is the goal, not running the country lead by officials that are actually capable.

So what is the alternative to Obama? A guy that can't keep his story straight (Romney), who has also promised to undo Roe v Wade, who is likely to give in to the requests of the far right and appoint awful supreme court justices?

As much as I dislike Obama and his policies, I think I will have to vote AGAINST a candidate (Romney) who 1) promises to bring the country back in time as far as social issues go, 2) is against "Obamacare" when he himself passed the same legislature in MA when he was governor, the list goes on...

I will vote for Obama not because I like him or agree with his policies but because Romney can only make things worse and he will for sure set the country back on social issues (the fact that he met with Santorum says it all, doesn't it?)

the GOP did it again: selected such an awful candidate (remember the Palin fiasco in 2008?) that they are essentially forcing people to vote for Obama (or should we say "against a backwards GOP")?

Tthe choice in this years election is simple. A vote for Obama is a vote for socialism. A vote for Romney is a vote for capitalism. Forget everything else, all the rhetoric, debates, etc...

Dear Huggy Bear,
While I agree that this election is between socialism vs. capitalism, it is more.

capitalism vs. socialism (or worse...marxism/communism)
freedom vs. the opposite of freedom
US Constitution vs. totalitarianism
limited government vs. statism
individual rights vs. unlimited government control
job growth vs. continued job loss
quality health care vs. pathetic health care
strong national defense vs. weakness
toward energy independence vs. less
more private property rights vs. less
less welfare economy vs. more welfare
less division by race, economic class vs. more

American Dream vs. American Nightmare

and much much more...
