e-Waste Recycling at Fairgrounds this year?

Original post made by Pleasantonian, Mission Park, on Mar 8, 2012

Does anyone know if there will be an e-Waste Recycling weekend at the fairgrounds like in past years? I looked on the fairgrounds website calendar and didn't see anything listed. Thanks!

Don't know about the fairgrounds but if you're simply looking for an e-waste recycling opportunity I occasionally see posters announcing an e-waste recycling Saturday at the recycling center in the Lucky's parking lot at West Las Positas and Hopyard.

You have to watch the ones in store parking lots, they want you to pay 10.00 per item, even a keyboard.

There is one in San Ramon that is free, and more.
Just google ewaste free recycling pleasanton dublin san ramon ca
and you will get all kinds of choices

Hope this helps

The City of Pleasanton will host it's annual FREE Community Recycling Event on Saturday, April 21, 2012. The event has been moved this year to the City of Pleasanton Operations Service Center at 3333 Busch Road. The event takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Bring in fluorescent tubes and bulbs, E-waste (computer, stereos, tvs, etc.) shoes, clothing and textiles, and a prescription and over the counter drug-drop off hosted by DSRSD will also be included. Batteries and halogen floor lamps will also be collected. There is a bulk paper drop off from 10 am to 1 pm. There are some restrictions, so please visit or call (925) 931-5500. We hope to see everyone there!
