Found Dog by Pleasanton Library

Original post made by Anne, Del Prado, on Oct 26, 2011

I found an adorable Yorkie/Terrier mix dog today on Old Bernal, right across from the library. It did not have a collar on, nor is there a microchip. If you lost your dog, please e-mail me at!

if you don't hear from anyone soon to claim him, take him to a vet or the animal shelter to have him checked for a chip. Most dogs are chipped these days.

Is it a male or a female? I saw an add in the Pennysaver for a lost Yorkie. I called the people and their dog is still missing but it is a purebred.

Maybe a Lost & Found category would be good to have here.

I see roaming pets occasionally and have found key chains and other seemingly lost items without knowing what to do.
