Obama's (and McNerney's) Destruction of America's Jobs Continues...

Original post made by Dana, Amador Estates, on Aug 22, 2011

"Get ready for the sacrifice of tens of thousands more American jobs (at least) to feed the fantasy of “clean energy.” Even as the “green jobs” promise proves to be a lie, the Obama administration is getting set to force the shutdown of countless power plants across half the nation."

The EPA is out of control.

See the article >>> Web Link

"The Environmental Protection Agency’s new Cross-State Air Pollution Rule, announced last month, will affect coal-fired electric plants in at least 27 midwestern and eastern states. Set to take effect next year, the rule could shutter up to a fifth of the nation’s generating capacity."

These socialist democrats are killing America...they know it and this is deliberate.

So, Dana, what have you done today to slow global warming, or reduce the domestic unemployment rate, or control the spiraling federal deficit? Nothing, I suspect. But you are more than gleeful here to blame those that are doing something, anything, toward solutions. You chose to blame and vilify those with guts and determination while you boo from the sidelines in disapproval of their actions.

How is it that we now celebrate those in our country who complain and blame others before we commend those that do? Dana, I count you among those that don't.

Dana doesn't count. Fixated on race of our president doesn't count except in the racist category.

Hey Neighbor,
Apparently you haven't been keeping up...or choose not to listen. The (pseudo) scientists who first claimed there is global warming have been exposed as frauds. Any climate change is ... 1) part of the natural ebb and flow of weather over centuries and 2) is not impacted by "humans" ... so I vehemently reject your premise that climate change can be altered by man.

Secondly, it is the democrats who are pushing America over the brink economically. So what am I doing you ask? I am never voting again for the democrat party (of which I was a member of until I saw the light). And I am exposing their destructive policies whenever I can.

BTW: I encourage you (yes, even 'challenge' you to read a book that I just began reading. Called "Death by Liberalism: The Fatal Outcome of Well-Meaning Liberal Policies" by J.R. Dunn. >>> Web Link

It is an eye-opener.

That is a good thing because thousands of people die from cancer and respiratory diseases caused by coal power generation. We can easily replace all this generating capacity with nuclear, wind, and solar power.

Patriot,

"That is a good thing because thousands of people die from cancer and respiratory diseases caused by coal power generation. We can easily replace all this generating capacity with nuclear, wind, and solar power."

We are going to lose 20% of our energy and you say it is easy to replace it with nuclear, solar, and wind which do not currently exist and we have no money. Do tell and explain to us how that happens.

Boner,

Build nuclear power plants. Build them. Several states are already in later stage plans. Burning coal is an archaic way to generate electricity. By the way, we aren't going to lose "20% of our energy",

Patriot,

What states are in the later stages of building nuclear plants? Who is able to supply plentiful and affordable wind and solar energy? The only companies staying in business with wind and solar are being supported by taxpayers funds otherwise they are not viable. Give us some facts and by the way your quote says that they regulations will take effect next year eliminating 1/5 of our capacity.
