The Making of a New York Exhibit

Original post made by claudette mcdermott, Del Prado, on Feb 23, 2011

Hey there ~ Just thought some might be interested in what it takes to create an exhibit that's at the other end of the United States. From Pleasanton, California to New York, local artist Claudette McDermott (me) takes the journey to experience the International Art Exhibition in New York. The Art Expo boasts:

"Artexpo New York 2011 is shaping up to be a phenomenal event! We’re expecting hundreds of innovative exhibiting artists and hundreds of dealers and publishers from across the globe, along with more than 10,000 buyers and art enthusiasts. We’ll also be hosting our popular SOLO show, with hundreds of the world’s top emerging, independent artists exhibiting original artwork." Web Link

I will be posting on my website the steps I am taking for this huge undertaking. I find it exciting, exhilarating and challenging. This adventure is one I am sure not to forget any time soon and a trip of a lifetime in my personal Journey as an Artist. If you'd like to follow my journey, I'll be blogging about it soon. Google: Poetry On Canvas Pleasanton to find out what steps I am taking and my thoughts along the way, in "The Making of a New York Exhibit."
