Saturday FUN - I am going to the Community Craft & Rummage Sale ARE YOU???

Original post made by M¢¾, Downtown, on Sep 16, 2010

I am going to the Community Craft and Rummage Sale this weekend. Specifically on Saturday Morning 8am to 12:00pm...
This event is free to sell at and the people are real nice. Last month when it was held I scored big time on some really nice items for very little money. (shoes, antiques and kids clothes for 1.00 each). And I saw that they had a CRAFTs room that had some real nice handmade jewelry and baby things. I would really like people to go to this. The lady who started it, terry, said she did it so people could make ends meet for their families, during difficult economic times when things are so unsure. she says its not her event, it is just what needs to happen for the sake of the community.
It is at 4100 First Street just past the gas stations if you're coming from the farmers market... the church is allowing her to run this event every month. I would love to see YOUR support for these families. If the event receives more support, then maybe the pastor will allow her to keep this event going every month. THANKS FOR READING ... Mary -

I went last month and bought a few things. It was worth the stop for me.
