Bankhead's hilarious, offbeat comedy 'The Producers' offers top entertainment

Mel Brooks' musical comedy "The Producers" is an equal opportunity offender, against Jews, Germans, Swedes, gays, accountants - and the little old ladies who "reaching the end of their rope still have hope for one more romp in the hay."

If you want a terrific laugh, you should see this play. Tri Valley Rep has done a great job with this production.

I urge everyone who loves the arts to please come out and support our local groups. A show like this would cost $85/$125 in SF. The Bankhead is a lovely theater and this would make a great Mother's Day outing.
