Illegal jurors??

Original post made by unclehomerr.., Downtown, on Feb 22, 2010

If jurors are chosen by driver's license info [among other ways] and if an illegal alien has a driver's license... what happens if he/she gets a jury summons??

If I'm on trial, could there be illegal aliens on the jury??? Jury of my peers, not.

What if a crime is committed on board the space shuttle or international space station? Do they get tried by the citizens of the country the space vessel was geolocated over during the crime? Or at the Hague? Or are they out of Earth's legal jurisdiction and must be tried by some sort of Cosmic Confederacy?

And what about Vermicious Knids?

Seriously, though--the greater concern is what if a vampire gets a jury summons? Do they hold court at night? Has anyone assessed the fiscal impact of extending court until after dark?

Looks like Cholo has already make several comments above.
Regardless, illegals get DMV licenses by just plain asking for one, also for bribing DMV employees, & they get them on street corners.
But illegals are NOT just selected to serve on a Jury, but in Cal's obsession with social engineering manipulation, illegals are also given free-ride scholarships.... over Ca born honor students. Closer to home, they get to rent Pleasanton & Livermore's limited LOW-income housing that YOU and I subsidize !! Have your kids moved back home with you yet?..when they're turned away for not being 'eligible' ?

Rules don't deter law breakers!
Surely you remember the FRAUD & BRIBE scandal involving several East Bay DMV employees last year, and the arrests of a RING of DMV employees taking bribes or 'selling' licenses about 8 years ago in CoCo County.

Sounds like someone's looking for an excuse to skip a court date.

Two records are used when figuring out who is eligible to serve on a jury -- driving records and voter registration records.

That's right -- jury duty is punishment for good citizenship!

I wonder why you are soooooo jealous of people that accept help?
