“Sunday mornin’ between 7:32 an’ 7:35 I saws what I thinks I sees at first was a sparrow flying slowly into the fence. Yep, Martha n’ I was out fer are evenin’ stroll there along Wolf Avenue and, goll darn if there weren’t right there one o’ them, well by golly it musta been one o’ them Martins just a chirpin’ and hopin’ an’ poopin’ all over the place -- sorta reminded me o’ the Mayor’s pet buzzard, er hawk er whatever that bird is. An’ sorta reminded the wife -- says she -- o' the Mayor herself.”

“Could it have been a stuffed peacock?? I saw several over the weekend in Marin near the Yacht Club. There was a documentary on KQED last night warning young men to stay away from the Marin Yacht Club due to a recent rash of cougar seductions.”
