A poorly thought out healthcare reform act hastily put into law in 2010 can no longer support itself. Thousands if not millions of new government jobs have been created to implement the healthcare reform and, gosh, the systems' costs were way underestimated and all those government workers have to have their cushy retirement benefits. And, rather than be up front about the problem or take steps to reduce costs, our federal legislators (democrat and republican alike) insert a funding amendment into a 'must-have' piece of legislation and slip billions of dollars from our pockets to solve temporarily solve the problem.

I'm totally disgusted with the way our legislators at all levels of government continue to spend money we don't have and try to hide it from us when they do it. Replace them all at the next election.

Ken,

There are fewer federal civil servants today than there were 30 years ago, and taxes are lower today versus 30 years ago.

As far as the federal budget goes Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are the whole problem.
