Barack Obama faces 30 death threats a day, stretching US Secret Service

Original post made by Witman, Kottinger Ranch, on Aug 3, 2009

US President Barack Obama is the target of more than 30 potential death threats a day and is being protected by an increasingly over-stretched and under-resourced Secret Service, according to a new book.

Since Mr Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 per cent from the 3,000 a year or so under President George W. Bush, according to Ronald Kessler, author of In the President's Secret Service.

Understand that anarchy is not a "teenage beer fest" ... it's the real deal. Protect the President... regardless of your ideology OR regret the loss of liberty that comes with lawless intervention.

I think everyone can agree that no one wants Biden as POTUS.

I didn't vote for this president, and I am solidly against everything he stands for, but even the most vehemently opposed to him should never threaten the president - ever.

That is wrong, immoral, ungodly, evil, and every other adjective that describes abhorent behavior.

Keep the argument to the ideas and separate it from the person.

Stacey, I rarely like the things you post - but I got a good chuckle from this one.
