The City Council will be voting on a proposed special election, to BAN any further Botox Spa's in Pleasanton!

Stay tuned! Now, this will really cause a stir with the mothers. You thought the PUSD issues are a mess, just wait! LOL

Ya think?

It's funny how for years, when we were ALL fat and Happy, the focus was on MORE!

Bigger and better cars

Luxurious vacations

Electronics ie: HDTV large screens

Lots of fancy dinners out

Cloths and MORE cloths

Vacation homes

Rental Properties

And the LIST goes on

During the GOOD TIMES people were focused on themselves and their pursuit for MORE! Keepin up with the JONES! Everyone was working and most here were making great money! People were job hoping like crazy! REMEMBER??

Hardly ANYONE took part in City Council and or School Board meetings.

Almost No ONE complained about administrative perks, cell phones etc.

Test scores were/are GREAT and people took great PRIDE in and RAVED about PUSD!!

NOW the city is divided, unemployment is out of control, people are loosing their jobs and homes. Most people young and old have LOST money in their retirement accounts.People CAN NOT use their homes as an ATM anymore!People are BLAMING presidents, school officals, neighbors, leftist, rightist, gays, and just about everyone EXEPT THEMSELVES!!!

It seems that many are still dead set on keeping appearances. There is almost a sort of "class" war going on lately.

Let's face it, PEOPLE are SCRED to DEATH right now. Remember the "FIGHT or FLIGHT" instinct?

The stages of GRIEF? Denial, Anger, Depression, Acceptance etc.??

I always bring up the BIG picture in these times. IF we have an invasion, a war, a MAJOR EARTH QUAKE etc. I am SURE we would COME TOGETER no holds barred, as a community!

Ya think?

There sadly is some truth to your post Jon. I can't believe just how many Pleasanton mothers line up in their luxury cars with their giant diamond rings, to pick up their kids around 2:45 at all the local schools!

When the HUBBY loosed his job, they will be screwed! The cost of child care, when available is absurd in Pleasanton. How will these mommy's get a job?

Well, I do have an idea! LOL Hmmm?

legalise prostitution!
