Presidents Should Be Held Accountable

Original post made by Angelo, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Aug 21, 2013

Barack Obama has been quick to take credit for ACA (Obamacare), but he has yet to take responsibility for the federal government's failure to respond to Hurricane Katrina.

Nevertheless, Louisiana Republicans aren't about to let Obama off the hook. According to a new survey from Public Policy Polling, 29 percent of Louisiana Republicans blame President Obama for the federal government's botched response to Hurricane Katrina.
Yes, you read that right: Nearly one in three Louisiana Republicans blame Barack Obama, who had just been elected to the Senate and had yet to announce his presidential campaign.

Nor have many of Louisiana's Republicans succumbed to the lies generated by the liberal media. Because that 29 percent figure is actually slightly higher than the percentage of Louisiana Republicans who blame President Bush, who was actually, you know, president. The remaining 44 percent (the figures add up to more than 100 due to rounding) said they weren't sure who to blame.

In other words, given a choice between President Obama and President Bush, more than 70 percent of Louisiana Republicans either blamed Obama or said they weren't sure who deserved more blame.

So, our President first slipped out of the Benghasi scandal (all parties in the Embassy have been absolved of blame), then wriggled free of the scandal that involved the IRS going after Tea Party groups and progressive liberal groups in equal measure, and now, to top things off, he's trying to escape blame for Hurricane Katrina.

Thank God our nation's deep thinkers and insightful intellectuals -- e.g., those 29% Republicans -- have found a party that is fitting to their aptitudes.

They also claim there were no terrorist attacks while Bush was president. These people excel at denial of facts.

Nice try 'ang(e)lo'......slow day in front of Home Depot?

From the article on the NOLA website: ".. PPP is a liberal Democrat polling group that routinely puts out dubious data attacking Republicans all over the country," Anderson said.

PPP is a left-leaning firm based in Raleigh, N.C., which undertakes polling for Democratic candidates and politicians."

NOLA - ah yes, they had Mittens Romney winning the most recent presidential election laugher by four points -- only days before the election. (What about that, "Right," do you remember the past election? Oh, you say ACORN rigged the election?)

PPP called the election within .1% and has been credited with having the most accurate results within the presidential election cycle.

But, although "Right" seems to know nothing beyond Republicans=Good Democrats=Bad, perhaps he'd like to unpack the PPP poll and tell us all about the pollster's shortcomings and how, specifically, the poll fails? Go ahead, "Right." Show us that you actually know what you're talking about! Didn't think so.

Sounds like you have some deep personal issues that need to be resolved, About time. Lots of pent up anger just spilling out onto the page. Therapy? Perhaps under Obama's ACA you'll be able to afford it?

I look forward to taxing the system (and you personally) by having you pay for my pre-existing conditions since I haven't bothered to follow a healthy lifestyle for years. Isn't obamicare great? They'll even pay for your long awaited sex change operation , so you can finally become the man you've always wanted to be. Court is adjourned.......adios.

There's a provision in OCA to get folks out of jail sooner?

Must've been buried in one of those 2000 pages no one bothered to read.
