Another Bay Area news poll shows little support for BART unions

Original post made by Joe, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Aug 13, 2013

First it was the KPIX news poll showing that, by a 2-1 margin, Bay Area residents think the unions are being unreasonable.

Now it's the KTVU Facebook page showing similar disdain for the BART unions and their demands. In both cases, residents think that the unions' health care and pension benefits are key parts of their unreasonable demands. Many people are calling on BART management to train new employees during the 60-day cooling off period, and many are stating how they themselves would be willing to step in to those well-compensated BART jobs.
