So let me get this straight... a former judge steals at least one million dollars but only has to pay back a third. He is allowed to resign ensuring he still gets his retirement. Berkeley Police spent two years on this investigation and the DA accepts a deal where he serves not a single day in jail. Wow, we are tough on crime here aren't we?

People need to speak out and demand this be investigated, the
sentencing repealed and an appropriate sentence administered. Shameful -
who is the judge who gave the sentence???? This only sends a message to
judges abuse your power - if you get away with it great if your caught
don't worry you wont' be punished in accordance with the law. UTTERLY DISGUSTING! Bet he still gets his pension.

A judge protecting another judge because tomorrow it could be his rump on the line. This is the behavior of adults in the workplace.
