Anticipation Springs Eternal: Sarah Palin Weighs Alaskan Senatorial Bid

Original post made by Where Has My Country Gone?, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Jul 10, 2013

Good news for freedom lovers.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) is considering going back on the ballot.

In an interview on "The Sean Hannity Show" Tuesday, the 2008 vice presidential candidate indicated she might throw her hat in the ring to become one of Alaska's U.S. Senators.

"I've considered it because freedom seeking people have requested me considering it, and in this great land of ours where we need to win back freedom from the freedom taker-away-ers a possibility for running is something that many are watching with fervored interest," Palin said, after Hannity mentioned rumors of a potential Senate run.

"I'm still waiting to see, you know, what the lineup will be and hoping that, there again, there will be some new blood, new energy, new enthusiasm and a return to basic American values and values in the spirit of liberty which this nation has generated itself on -- not just kind of picking from the same old politicians in the state, you know, the usual ones," Palin continued.

Palin also took the opportunity to swipe at Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska), who she believes "if we value freedom, I mean truly value freedom as our great Founding Fathers like George Washington and John Stuart Mill wrote about with great patriotic passion while reserving their vitriol for those who sought to take away our freedom with stamps and taxes and placing British spies in our midst, has got to be replaced."

"[Begich] has not done what he has promised to do for the people of Alaska and that was to represent what it is that the nation needs in terms of energy development and so many other issues like freedom reclaiming and preservation of our hard-earned tax money spent on development issues that are near and dear to an Alaskan's heart," Palin said. "Because he's on the wrong side of the aisle. Which is a real shame. That's a waste of opportunity for our nation because getting on the right side of the aisle means being true to this nation's exceptional standing without kowtowing to the demands of Putin and entitlement groups that have gotten away with too much and with wrong-side-of-the-aislers - those who exist on the dark side with those entitlement groups and what have you - have been catering to in ways that affect all Americans living in this great country."

You can tell by the lack of comments that Palin is not well thought of.

Geez, she has a big need for attention. Sad.
