Pleasanton police say Sheraton guest skips out without paying $1,300 in charges

The Pleasanton Police Department is asking the District Attorney's Office to file charges against a women guest who racked up $1,300 in charges at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, then left last Monday without paying.

Why wouldn't the Hilton put the charges on the guests credit card that they obtain a copy of when a guest checks into the hotel?

In regards to sue's comment-why wouldn't the Hilton do that? because it was the sheraton.

The guest could have paid cash or better yet a stolen credit card OR being they don't charge the account till check out, might have been a Visa gift card she used and being there was a "credit ccard" on file, she probably got room service and more in the bar and restaurant.
