Oakland searching for new police chief after Jordan announces he's stepping down

Oakland city leaders are launching a nationwide search for a new police chief following the surprise announcement by Chief Howard Jordan
that he is stepping down for medical reasons.

Doesn't matter who the chief is so long as Mayor Quan is pro-criminal and ties his hands so he cannot do his job. The populace of Oakland want the police to get the "bad guys" - except for when their friends and relatives are the criminals. It's a no-win situation when the police cannot do their jobs and the populace don't support police. And this is the kind of "diversity" Jerry Brown wants to export to Pleasanton with housing mandates. Keep voting Democrat!
