this is a joke. fireworks are against the law in CA. against the law in Alameda county. against the law in pleasanton.
And the signs at the Dublin vendors always say that you cannot use them in Dublin. So, why are they being sold?
Every year the local police organizations warn citizens not to purchase or bring them into town yet this charade goes on year after year.
Its time to stop fireworks sales.
Let the charities raise money some other way.

Fireworks (safe and sane) *are* legal in Dublin, Newark and Union City. So it helps to get your facts straight! It is a tradition in Dublin, and a fund-raiser that many organizations rely on. Why be so negative??

Don't you just love the bleaping left wing idiots that want to ban everything (except pot and the govenment taxing the beJesus out of you). Speaking of Jesus, the left wingers want to ban him too. Kudos to Dublin.

HaHa! Can you prove beyond a reasonable doubt that "Jesus" existed at all?

Didn't think so...

But, more to the topic at hand, the "safe and sane" fireworks are nice to have for July 4th. And, they don't seem to cause too many problems. But, the more advanced pyrotechnics definitely need to be kept away from any one not trained to use them!

liberalism is a disease is a registered user.

Cholo and godless, have either of you ever seen a fireworks show?
Its hard to watch a good fireworks show and not think there's a higher being that allows such beauty and magnificence to exist. Unless you think all this exists by random

Caveman, you have excellent computer skills for someone with a protruding brow and knuckles dragging the ground. You must be voting for either Narum or swan song for city council.
No doubt you and fellow dems will get what you deserve.
