REMEMBERING COACH *JOSELITO GONZAGA* PFLL

Original post made by GO GIANTS, Mission Park, on Sep 12, 2012

" WHAT HAPPENS ON THE BASEBALL FIELD, STAYS ON THE BASEBALL FIELD " WHEN IT COMES TO POLITICS IN SPORTS, PLEASANTON IS TOPS. WHEN IT COMES TO COACHS WHO " KNOW THE GAME " COACH JOSELITO GANZAGA WAS EXACTLY THAT. ALTHOUGH WE DIDN'T SEE EYE TO EYE AND POLITICS RAN WILD, I AM VERY,VERY SADDENED TO HEAR ABOUT JOSELITOS PASSING. HE WAS A GREAT BASEBALL ENTHUSIAST AND I WILL FOREVER BE HUMBLED BY HIS UNTIMELY PASSING. NEVER ONCE DID I EXPERIENCE HIM LOOSE HIS COOL ON THE BASEBALL DIAMOND, WHAT A GREAT MAN TO HAVE COACHED IN THIS TOWN. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH JOSELITOS FAMILY, I THINK OF YOU ALL OFTEN. IN CLOSING I WILL SAY THAT I WILL TRULY MISS JOSELITO AND SEEING HIM OUT ON THE BERNAL FIELDS HE HELPED BREAK-IN FOR YOUNG BASEBALL PLAYERS TO USE FOR YEARS TO COME. JOSELITO ALONG WITH MY SON, SHARE THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING THE FIRST COACH TO HAVE A PLAYER SUSPENDED FROM PLAY ON THOSE FIELDS FOR NOT AVOIDING CONTACT AT HOME PLATE, IT WAS THE FIRST TIME THOSE FIELDS WERE EVER PLAYED ON. " THATS BASEBALL - GO GIANTS "
