Does this remind anyone else of the Castro Valley Jane Doe case?

Maybe they don't have the correct suspect or he is not even in Mexico?

It's good to see this information coming forward, as surely there is someone out there somewhere waiting to hear what has happened to a loved one. Busy times for our Pleasanton Police Department. Do you know whether there has been any further information on the mother-daughter shooting case? Are the Pleasanton Police calling in additional forensic experts to augment their expertise in this area? It seems that some of these cases might be beyond the normal day-to-day scope for Pleasanton's training, and that the outside experts might be able to assist. It's been almost a month, and it seems no new evidence would suddenly surface to crystalize the findings.

I too immediately thought of the Castro Valley Jane Doe case. At least that woman was identified. Was her killer every caught? If not, maybe it is the same guy!

Pleasanton suddenly has a number of unusual cases to investigate. The idea of getting forensic experts or some other kind of experts to help our local police sounds good to me. Can we afford it?

I am happy to hear there is an active investigation in this case. WHY WHY WHY don't we have more coverage and information on this case in the media? Also, the murder/ suicide hasn't been reported much either. Why not?

The Jane Doe case was featured on the news last night on at least two stations, channel 2 and 4, broadcast from PPD. They showed the sketch and the unique earrings she was wearing. There's also an article about the case in the Times today. Hopefully someone who knew her will come forward.

I was glad to see that when you click on the pictures on the left it comes up bigger. Those earrings are unique. I am sure her family, if they are looking at this, will identify her by them. her friends as well. Very sad and obviously a young woman by the type of clothing she chose to wear and the style of the jewelry. Maybe Terry can help...
